Alcohol Support
Exploring Your Relationship with Alcohol—Without Shame, Without Pressure
Alcohol can play many roles.
Maybe it helped you cope. Helped you connect. Helped you manage when things felt unmanageable.
But lately, something has shifted. It feels heavier. Less like a choice—and more like a need.
You might be:
Feeling guilt, regret, or confusion about how much you’re drinking
Wondering how your habits align with your values
Worrying about the impact on your relationships, your health, or your sense of self
Curious about what life might feel like with more supportive coping tools—and structured help
You don’t have to have a plan. You don’t have to commit to change.
This is a space to begin noticing—with care, context, and compassion.

“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh
Why This Work Matters
Alcohol often becomes a way to manage what feels too big, too loud, or too heavy—especially for people navigating overwhelm, caregiving, trauma histories, or midlife transitions.
It may have been adaptive. Protective, even. But it might not be working anymore.
Research shows that:
Women are most at risk of developing problematic alcohol use during their reproductive years
Anxiety and depression often coexist with substance use, sometimes masking or worsening each other
Trauma and emotional dysregulation can fuel cycles of use that feel hard to interrupt
If any of this resonates, you’re not alone—and there’s nothing broken about you.
My approach is:
Rooted in harm reduction and trauma-informed care
Respectful of your autonomy, values, and pace
Grounded in realistic strategies, not rigid expectations
What This Support Looks Like

This is not a set program.
There’s no checklist, and no assumption that abstinence is your goal.
We’ll talk about what matters to you, and what feels possible from here.
