Individual Therapy

When You're No Longer Sure What's Working—Therapy Can Help.

Maybe you’re going through the motions but feel disconnected.

Maybe you’re holding everything together for everyone else—but losing sight of yourself.

Or maybe you’ve just hit a point where the strategies that used to help you cope... aren’t helping anymore.

Therapy is a space to pause, take stock, and reconnect with yourself—without judgment, pressure, or performance.

I offer individual therapy in person in Collingwood, Ontario, and virtually across most provinces in Canada.

Who I Work With

I work with adult individuals and teens (13+) navigating a wide range of experiences, including:

  • Anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm

  • Life transitions (parenthood, career change, the perimenopause/menopause transition)

  • Postpartum mental health

  • Questioning your relationship with alcohol or other coping strategies

  • Burnout, resentment, or disconnection in relationships

  • Midlife shifts in identity, meaning, or direction

  • Insomnia and disrupted sleep

While I don’t offer couples therapy, the work we do can ripple into every relationship you hold—with your family, your partner, your work, and yourself.

Many of my adult clients are in their 40s or 50s.

You’ve spent years being the dependable one—raising kids, managing careers, showing up for everyone else.

And somewhere along the way, it’s started to feel like something’s missing.

  • You’re overwhelmed—but can’t explain why.

  • You’ve lost touch with what you actually want.

  • You feel like you’re watching your own life from the outside.

  • You’re coping in ways that don’t feel sustainable.

  • You’ve built a full life, but something inside feels empty.

You’re not alone—and this isn’t a crisis you need to “fix” overnight. It’s a turning point. Therapy is a place to explore what’s underneath these feelings—and begin making sense of them.

I bring clinical training and over 20 years of life and professional experience to this work. I’ve raised kids, changed careers, navigated my own midlife shift, and spent many hours in the client chair myself. That matters.

FOR ADULTS

I also support teens (13+) and young adults who are:

  • Struggling with mood, anxiety, or motivation;

  • Navigating identity, pressure, or social overwhelm;

  • Wanting to talk to someone who isn’t a parent, teacher, or peer.

Therapy with teens is collaborative and grounded in trust. My goal is to offer a supportive, safe place to sort through what’s going on—and build tools for resilience and self-understanding.

FOR TEENS

How I Work

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in relational psychotherapy. I draw on:

  • Attachment Theory

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM)

  • Mindfulness

Sessions are shaped by what matters most to you. There’s no agenda other than helping you feel more connected, more understood, and more equipped to meet life as it is.
